Robert Mugge discusses the making of DEEP BLUES
On January 19, 2022, DEEP BLUES began a five-day run at the Dairy Arts Center’s Boedecker Theater in Boulder, Colorado. The Center’s programmer, Glenn Webb, asked blues deejay and magazine publisher Cary Wolfson to introduce the opening-night screening, and in turn, Wolfson asked filmmaker Robert Mugge to answer questions after the screening. Webb made the session possible, not only by booking the film, but also by establishing and recording a Zoom call between Mugge and the theater.
